We are excited to welcome you to campus, both in-person and virtually.

Whether it’s on campus in Chestertown, or from the comfort of your own home, we’ll help you experience Washington College in the setting that is most convenient for you.

 

Our Visit Offerings

At Washington College, we know there’s nobody else in the world who’s quite like you. That’s why we tailor our tours for visitors as much as we tailor our education for students. Whether it’s your first or your fifth trip to campus, and whether you’re interested in athletics or antique letterpresses, we’ll help you plan a visit that’s just your style.

Information Session
9:45 am and 1:15 pm (45 minutes) 
Hear from one of our Admissions Counselors to get in-depth information on WC’s academic programs, learn about alumni outcomes, and discover what a Washington College education looks like.

Campus Tour
10:30 am, 11:30 am, 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm (1 hour) 
Get a feel for the WC student experience with one of our George’s Generals during an hour-long walking tour of campus that covers academic buildings, the dining hall, and more!

Waterfront Campus Tour
12:15 pm (30 minutes)
WC’s footprint extends further than just our main campus.  Explore our Waterfront campus with a George’s General to see how our students live, learn, and relax on the banks of the Chester River. 

Counselor Interview
10:30 am, 11:00 am, 11:30 am, 2:00 pm, 2:30 pm, 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm (30 minutes) 
Share your personal story and experience with one of our Admissions counselors during a virtual one-on-one interview. Get to know your guide to the Washington College admissions process.

In-Person Group Visits

Groups have the option to schedule an information session, campus tour, or both.

Visits are available most Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for students in grades 10-12. Groups must provide one chaperone for every 10 students. All guests must agree to abide by the College's COVID-19 policies and procedures.

Virtual Group Visits

Virtual Group Visits are held via the Zoom platform, and will include an information session lead by a member of the Admissions Staff followed by a virtual tour featuring 360-degree photographs of campus buildings and locations with a current student. Live question and answer opportunities will be available throughout.

Virtual Group Visits are open to students in grades 10-12. Groups must provide one chaperone for every 10 students.
